Your group tour

Day 1: Arrive in Sydney

After being privately transferred to your accommodation in the Historic Rocks District, spend the day at leisure experiencing this vibrant destination where the sea meets the city. You could explore the pride of Sydney by ferry.  In less than 30 minutes you can take in the iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge from Circular Quay to Darling Harbour.  For those with more time or a passion for nature, take a longer voyage to beautiful Manly beach, world famous Taronga Park Zoo, opulent Mosman or the traditional fishing village of Watson's Bay which has now transformed into a visual and culinary mecca filled with scenic walking trails to work off the delights on offer in its many thriving cafes and restaurants.

Day 2: Essential Sydney tour

Essential Sydney Small Group Tour will show you the famous sites of the city including The Rocks; the birth place of Sydney, The Botanical Gardens, Paliament House, City’s Cathedrals, a Walking Tour of the Harbour’s Edge with magnificent views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. Stop for lunch and continue to the local and affluent suburbs, before traversing along the coastline to Sydney’s most famous beach, Bondi Beach. Here you will have time to soak up the atmosphere of this beachside Mecca, maybe even enjoy an icecream. You will return to your hotel via the boutique shopping precinct and the charming Georgian and Victorian homes of Paddington. A great tour to get your bearrings and tick off some of the must see sites on your first day in the city.

Day 3: Blue Mountains eco tour

The World Heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park lies just to the west of Sydney. Enjoy a day out from Sydney to experience the ruggedness and beauty of the Blue Mountains. Along the way visit Featherdale Wildlife Park which is home to Ausatralia’s favourite marsupials. Your experienced guides will show you hidden valleys and stunning waterfalls. Pack your walking shoes for some great short hikes.

Day 4: Travel to Hobart in Tasmania

Travel from Sydney to Hobart and be privately transferred to your accommodation on the water front.

Nestled against the spectacular backdrop of Mount Wellington is the capital of Tasmania, Hobart a picturesque city rich in heritage.  Tasmania is famous for its wines and produce and the best of this can be experienced in Hobart, along with incredible sightseeing and exhilarating activities. Day 5: Cruise to Bruny Island

Today you will explore the Bruny Island coastline beneath some of Australia’s highest sea cliffs. You will enter deep sea caves and join in the search for wildlife such as seals, dolphins and sea birds. Return to Adventure Bay for a delicious fresh lunch with time to relax on the beach before departing on the return trip to Hobart.

Day 6: Leisure day in Hobart

Enjoy exploring the city at leisure. At  Hobart's doorstep stands the majestic Mt Wellington, Wellington Park is filled with versatile plant and animal life thriving in this incredible wonderland.  Take a walk or hike past waterfalls and springs to view the mountains of Sleeping Beauty, Collins Cap and Cathedral Rock.  You can rock climb or abseil the intimidating columns of the Organ Pipes or horseride and mountain bike along the  Pipeline Track or take a ferry to MONA or a day trip to Port Arthur.

Day 7: Travel to Kangaroo Island

Today fly to Kangaroo Island. Once on the island enjoy the specialties of the land, the people and the wildlife. Once landed, everything is taken care of for you so sit back and enjoy. 


Accommodation: Molly’s Run- Located on acreage on the North Coast of Kangaroo Island with views out over the ocean. There are three guest rooms - two Queen doubles and one King, all with en-suite bathrooms. One Queen room is upstairs with ocean views, the other downstairs and opens out to expansive gardens and the King room has access to a large courtyard garden.

Day 8: Koalas on Kangaroo Island

Island touring is included in your accommodation today. You will be shown the highlights of the island, get up close to kangaroos, koalas and seals whilst you explore the ruggered coastlines and the island’s nature reserves.

Day 9: South Coast road trip begins in Adelaide

Fly to Adelaide and collect your car to begin your road trip. First stop is Coonawarra, a South Australia wine region. Explore the surrounds whilst enjoying the local wine and produce.


Accommodation: The Menzies Retreat- A fantastic getaway in the heart of the Coonawarra. With panoramic views of the surrounding native revegetation area and Yalumba Menzies vineyard, this B&B stay is ideally situated only minutes away from other award winning wineries, restaurants and other tourism attractions of the Limestone Coast region.

Day 10: Continue down the coast

Continue East to Port Fairy a coastal town in south west Victoria. Uncover history in every corner of this charming fishing village which is the start of the Great Ocean Road (heading east).

Day 11: Great Ocean Road

Wake early and enjoy the spectacula Twelve Apostles, a collection of limestone stacks off the shore of the Port Campbell National Park. Contine along the ruggered coastline to your next destination, Lorne.

Day 12: Made it to Melbourne

Today is your last day of the road trip, travel to Melbourne and return your rental car  and spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring historic arcades and laneways lined with fine dining restaurants, chic cafes, hidden bars and fashion boutiques.

Day 13: Phillip Island wildlife 

This afternoon commence your tour to Phillip Island with a visit to Moonlit Sanctuary Conservation Park where you are guaranteed plenty of close encounters with an array of Australian native animals like kangaroos, wombats and echidnas. You will then head to Phillip Island where you will see the little penguins come ashore as they hurry off to find their burrows. You will be guided through the Penguin Parade tour by a local ranger to give you all the insights of their knowledge.

Day 14: Livin' like a local in Melbourne

Just a tram ride away, the eclectic neighbourhoods on the city fringe offer endless possibilities. Check out the trendy northern suburbs Collingwood, Fitzroy, Brunswick and Northcote.  Get your shopping fix in retail meccas South Yarra, Prahran and Toorak. Take your beach towel to bay side St Kilda, Port Melbourne and South Melbourne, and go west for more fabulous food and beaches. Experience Melbourne's mix of cultures in its myriad restaurants, cafes, bistros and bars. Whether you're after modern, traditional, exotic or homespun flavours – Melbourne's eclectic dining scene offers a startling array of the world's great cuisines, from popular favourites to the truly groundbreaking.
