An incredibly well organised 4 night, 5 day customised trip through the Norwegian fjords with my daughter (age 11). All details from hotels to driving directions to camping and outdoors equipment were incredibly well organised. The self guided portion allowed us to feel like we were travelling through Norway with local knowledge in hand. The guided kayaking / camping trip let us access parts of Norway we never would have reached otherwise. Highly recommended guide! Will definitely book with them again.

We are a family of 5 with children aged 11, 12 and 14. We travelled to 5 different centres during our 2 weeks in Costa Rica: Puerto Viejo and Tortuguero (both on the Caribbean coast) then on to Arenal where we did white water rafting and zip-lining. After that we got an internal flight down to Drake Bay (where we had some fabulous trips to Corcovado and Cano Island) and then on to Manuel Antonio for the final few days. We thought the Costa Rican scenery was stunning and we were amazed by the array of wildlife. Tachiz Travel were excellent in that every transfer and trip booked through them worked like clockwork. There were no real hiccups or problems throughout. We also loved the people of Costa Rica who we found very friendly and helpful . We would definitely recommend for anyone interested in eco-tourism/wildlife/adventure holidays.

We had such an adventurous trip. My two kids (9 and 6) and my husband and I wanted to get as much out of our 16 day trip as possible and we did. In Queenstown, we travelled to Milford Sound via plane and did a cruise of the fjords. The entire trip was priceless and well worth the money spent. In Queenstown we stayed at The Rees Hotel. It was an amazing place and I highly recommend. While in Queenstown, we also took the gondola up and did the luge, we went jet boating at Shotover Jetboats and enjoyed the city. Queenstown will always be so memorable because the place is gorgeous everywhere and so fun! Other than Queenstown, Mt. Cook stands out because of it’s beauty. We took a helicopter ride on top of the glacier and were just awestruck by the scenery. Finally, Rotorua was an place of great adventure too. We had a blast zip lining, going to the Agrodome, Ogo’ing and doing the Maori Cultural Experience. Rotorua is full of adventure and a top spot on our trip. We ended our trip up north in Oakura Bay and Auckland. The beach was gorgeous and we loved checking out the city. Overall, we had an amazing time as a family of four exploring both the north and South Island of NZ!
