Situated in Lapland, half an hour away from the town of Kiruna, Jukkasjärvi is particularly famous for its ice hotel.

My suggestion:
In summer, Jukkasjärvi offers no more than the possibility of food at a restaurant, the Old Homestead, is by the river.
Summary:

A little Sami town with a strong Finnish minority (where its Finnish name comes from), which borders a lake in the north of Lapland, Jukkasjärvi wasn't on the tourist radat before an ice hotel opened there, which now attracts, during its winter opening period, clientèle (and curious people) from the four corners of the world. Built entirely of ice, the hotel is an authentic marvel, only for a certain price! Even the restaurant, which only runs in winter, serves refined specialities on ice places and champagne in ice glasses. Amazing! Something to try during your stay in Sweden!

For those who (and I would be with them!), are more interested in nature, Jukkasjärvi offers numerous possibilities for walking or observing the Northern Lights in winter. The town also have the most ancient church in Lapland dating back to the 17th century and even a reindeer reserve. I had the chance to go on a tour of the region with one of the Samis who manage the reserve, who will be able to serve you as guides of the region.
