Day 1: Welcome to Croatia!

Arrival at Zagreb airport...

• Meet your driver for a private transfer to your hotel

• Explore the historical city with a local guide

• Visit the Cathedral, the medieval Stone gate, St. Mark’s church, the Upper town, Flower market square, Dolac Fruit & Grocery Market, the Central Square and Tkalčićeva Street

• Afterwards, you'll have free time to enjoy galleries or exhibitions such as the one of a kind, Museum of Broken Relationships


Day 2: Zagorje & Trakošćan Castle excursion

Drive to the Zagorje region with your local guide

• Visit a 19th century village, an open museum of life in the past

• Enjoy a traditional lunch in a local restaurant (included)

• Visit medieval Trakošćan castle displaying fabulous architecture, original contemporary furniture and a baroque period park with a lake

• Continue to well-preserved Varaždin. Stroll through the old town and visit the old castle

Return to Zagreb for the night


Day 3: Zagreb to Ljubljana

Pick up your rental car in front of your hotel and head to Slovenia’s capital, beautiful Ljubljana

• Do some sightseeing with a local guide

• Visit its famous bridges, an old medieval castle on the hill and St. Nicolas’ Cathedral

• Enjoy free time for the rest of the day


Day 4: Bled & Bohinj lakes

Drive to Bled lake, where you will visit the Bled castle

Take in magnificent views stretching across the Julian Alps and Bled lake

Ride across the lake on a special boat (called Pletna) to the island where you can visit the church of St. Mary (optional)

• In the afternoon drive toward another glacial lake – Bohinj, stretching into Triglav National park

• Return to Ljubljana


Day 5: Postojna cave & Opatija

• On your way back to Croatia visit the Postojna cave – one of the world’s largest karst monuments

Tour the passages and an incredibly diverse cave landscape by train and on foot

• Next stop, the beautiful coastal city of Opatija, the first resort in Croatia


Day 6: Zadar

• Continue to Zadar

• Together with the local guide, visit the Sea Organ, a vast musical art installation played by the rhythmic movement of sea waves

• It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy Alfred Hitchcock’s favorite sunset


Day 7: Split

• Set off towards Split

Meet with the local expert guide who will take you on a city tour of the UNESCO World Heritage City

• Visit the Roman Emperor Diocletian palace and the Cathedral of St. Domnios

• Various cultural monuments are located inside and outside the Diocletian’s Palace walls, such as the Renaissance Prokurative Square, several palaces, churches, galleries and museums


Day 8: Mostar

• Today, you'll explore charming Mostar, located in Bosnia and Herzegovina

• Once there, enjoy a guided stroll through the old town

 See the original Ottoman residential houses, mosques and the old bridge

• Take a short drive to Blagaj, home of the historical tekke (tekija or Dervish monastery)


Day 9: Ston, Dubrovnik & oyster tasting

• On the way to Dubrovnik, stop in Ston for a one hour boat trip to the oyster farm for an oyster & mussel tasting

• Pelješac peninsula is also known for fine local wines, so you will have a chance to taste some

• Next, you will arrive in the most spectacular of all Adriatic medieval cities - Dubrovnik

Drop off your rental car at the hotel before enjoying a free day in the city on your own

• In the evening, we recommend a cable car ride to mountain Srđ


Day 10: Art & history of Dubrovnik

Meet with a local guide in the old town. See the main street, Stradun, the city gates and the old harbor

• We suggest a walk on Dubrovnik’s stone walls, which date to 12th century

• Enjoy the rest of the day at your own leisure


Day 11: Montenegro

• Set off on a private day excursion to Montenegro and the Kotor Gulf

• A short boat ride from the shore of Perast will take us to ‘Our Lady of the Rock’ island and its pilgrimage church

• In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk through the town of Kotor, one of the best preserved walled-in cities of the Adriatic

• Old Budva, a main tourist resort in Montenegro, offers numerous gourmet dining options

• Return to Dubrovnik


Day 12: Dubrovnik departure

• At the appropriate time, transfer to Dubrovnik airport

Board your onward flight and have a safe and pleasant journey
