Transportation: a private car
One of the best ways to travel the streets of Hanoi is on a classic Vespa scooter. Early in the morning, you will set off on a Vespa to visit the must-see landmarks, away from the usual tourist areas and only known by a true native Hanoian. The first stop is Flower market and then the Long Bien Bridge. Your guide will find a good place for you to enjoy a bowl of pho - the staple of Vietnamese breakfast and a cup of coffee served Vietnamese style. Then you'll continue to visit the Hanoi train street which is located from the intersection of Dien Bien Phu street to Phung Hung street and “super narrow” due to the row of houses on both sides.
After that, you'll pass by Ngoc Ha market and Ba Dinh square, center of the Ho Chi Minh complex (including the Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh museum, the One-Pillar Pagoda and the Presidential Palace) where your guide will give you more informaiton of Vietnam's history. Then you will visit the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu in Vietnamese), situated in the place once known as the first university of Vietnam. Built in 1070 by emperior Ly Thanh Tong, the university was first opened for princes and mandarins exclusively. With its ancient courtyards, altars and roofs, Van Mieu is a very fine example of Vietnamese architecture. Then, continue your way to the Old Quarter and time to see how daily local life of Hanoians. After lunch at a local restaurant, the remainder of your day will be free.
In the evening, your guide will come back to escort to explore what makes Hanoi's Old Quarter such a captivating place. Here, you will be able to taste a wide variety of Vietnamese specialties, such as banh cuon (steamed rolled rice pancake) and banh mi (the famous Vietnamese sandwich that even appears in the Oxford Dictionary). Then, stop at a bia hoi (beer club) on Ta Hien Street and taste the fresh Vietnamese beer that is incredibly popular with locals and travelers alike. After that, you will head to a pho shop, where you will be able to choose between regular pho or pho tron (pho noodles mixed with chicken without soup). Then, make your way along Hoan Kiem Lake for one of the tastiest ice creams in Hanoi. You will then say goodbye to your guide and go on to explore Hanoi by night on your own.

In the morning, you will travel to Tuan Chau Marina pier and enjoy a welcome drink while checking-in for your cruise. After enjoying lunch on board, there will be time to relax and take-in the beauty of Halong Bay. Cruise through Halong Bay, passing the most beautiful and quiet areas including Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock, Finger Islet. Arrive at Surprise Cave - one of the most spectacular and largest grottoes of Halong Bay. The mouth of the grotto is reached by ascending about a hundred stone steps. Attend the Fruit and Vegetable Carving Lesson led by our Head Chef. During the lesson, the chef will conduct Fruit and Vegetable carving, showing the guests how we decorate and make some traditional Vietnamese food. After dinner, you are free to join evening activities. Board games like cards or Parcheesi are available. Also, everyone can try their luck at squid fishing on the boat with help from the crew. You'll spend the night on the boat cruise on Halong Bay.

If you’re an early riser, take part in an early morning Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck, then you can choose either a visit to Ti Top Island or just spend time relaxing on the boat. Then, breakfast will be served while cruising around Halong Bay. Afterwards, you will check out of your cabin and sail back to Tuan Chau Marina, where you will disembark and continue your trip and head back to Noi Bai airport for your flight to Danang. Upon arrival, you’ll meet another local guide and be transferred to your hotel for check-in. You’ll spend the night in Hoi An.

Your morning will be your own. Setting off in the late afternoon, you will ride your bicycles into the Cam Thanh countryside, you will ride across plains of flooded rice fields and have the opportunity to observe picturesque scenes of the local's daily life with a background of verdant countryside. After arriving at the local boat pier, you will board a boat that will transport you to the seaport of Cua Dai, at the mouth of the Thu Bon River, which runs through Hoi An. At this point, two very different activities will be awaiting you to enjoy.
First of all, you will be initiated to a form of fishing using huge nets raised by special pulleys, the catch, accessed only by paddling out in “basket boats”. After this first fun activity, a bamboo basket boat will take you into the mangrove forest. This amazing round basket boat will carry you along the forest and, from there, you will be able to watch and take part in scenes of crab fishing. At this point, you’ll no doubt be invited to try and manoeuvre your boat yourself, but it’s not an easy task making circular paddle movements while trying to make sure you keep your balance! Be that as it may, it's certainly a lot of fun. As a reward for your morning's efforts, you will be accompanied to a local family’s house to who will welcome you to give a hand in preparing the lunch or to make toys fashioned from coconut leaves, a very fun and enjoyable activity for both adults and kids.
Tonight, fresh food and a daily catch from the surrounding river is cooked and served right to you in this romantic setting for dinner. Enjoy your quiet private time with delicious dessert before coming back to your hotel.

Today your guide and a private car arrive to take you to the airport for your morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, another tour guide will greet and transfer you to your hotel for check-in and have lunch (at your own account). Your room is always available after 2.00 pm.
After relaxing time at your hotel, your guide will come back to escort you to visit the historical sites of the city: the old Post Office (built in the French Indochina era), Notre Dame Cathedral, Dong Khoi Street - a wide avenue lined with luxurious shops and hotels. After that, you will discover the city’s Chinatown (Cholon), where Binh Tay international market and Thien Hau pagoda are located. At the end of your visit, you will have some free time to stroll around and explore the city.
Then you'll have tickets for “A O” show which the name is given to a new kind of art performance, commonly known as “new circus” across the globe. The show surpasses all the limits that were previously constructed by many other art shows in Vietnam over the years. You will have the opportunity to let loose your imagination once it is set off by the visual creations and lighting of each performance. The main props used in the show are bamboo basket boats, which are also used in the daily life of many Vietnamese. Throughout 60 magical minutes, you will be gradually introduced to many different forms of emotion in this stunning performance. Then you'll travel back to your hotel for overnight stay.

In the morning you will depart from Ho Chi Minh City to explore Ben Tre in the Mekong delta, also known as the “Green Venice” of Vietnam. After visiting a brick factory in Phong Nam where bricks are still hand-made, step onto a boat for a cruise along the Chet Say river (one of the Mekong’s arms). You will make several stops along the way to discover different local workshops, allowing you to understand better the specialties of the local economy. The boat will then cross a small canal and stop at a small village, where you will continue your discovery of the delta by visiting a workshop specializing in carpet-weaving. You will even be able to try this activity yourself, before hopping in a xe loi (a kind of motorized rickshaw) or on a bicycle to wander around the village. You will see traditional farms, rice fields and vegetable plants, before stopping at a small local restaurant to taste a delicious (and generous) lunch made of regional specialties, such as “elephant-ear fish” and freshwater shrimps.
In the afternoon you will get back on the sampan for some leisure time along the narrow canals. You will travel to Can Tho to check in your hotel and relax. You'll spend the night in Can Tho.

Setting off early in the morning after breakfast, you will board a local boat to visit the famous Cai Rang Floating Market and experience it up close. Try your hand at bargaining and buy yourself some fruits or drinks from the countless ship shops.
After breakfast at your hotel, time is your own. In the afternoon, you will hop on the bike and paddle toward the lush countryside. You will discover and stop over at incredible rice fields, watermelon farms in the the Mekong Delta with farmers, cross dozens of bridges over many river tributaries and pass by the local market. We will ride on the ferryboat and conquer the other side of Mekong river where has a famous old giant ficus microcarpa tree - a great place for VC to camouflage and hide means of warfare and trained guerrilla. Your guide will absolutely explain more interesting war sides in Mekong region when you relax in the riverside hammock coffee shop with the fresh coconut or sugar cane juice. We back to hotel to relax and overnight.

After breakfast, your guide and a private car arrive to take you to the airport for your afternoon flight from Can Tho to Con Dao. Upon arrival at the airport in Con Dao, you'll be transferred to your resort in Con Dao.
