If you want peace and quiet during your holiday in Crete, Loutro is the ideal spot. Here,nothing will disturb you.
The village of Loutro is the ideal place to unwind and have a wonderful holiday reading, walking and swimming,... a great place to do nothing!
Those who love beautiful beaches will adore Loutro: the village has a pleasant pebble beach with limpid sea, where I love to relax; for the more energetic, there are canoes and even pedalos. A few minutes from Loutro, you will find the fabulous Phoenix bay with its little beach and views of the coastline and the hinterland.
Walkers will enjoy the long hikes around the coast on steep paths. You must visit the Aradena gorge on the outskirts of Loutro : a naturally wild and splendid place, near Marmara beach.
