The Bou Sraa waterfalls are the best known and most beautiful in the region of Mondolkiri and are about 40 kilometres from Sen Monorom.
If you are going to the Bou Sraa waterfalls by motorbike or scooter don't forget to cover your face as the road which goes there is very dusty.
The plateau where Sen Monorom is located is about 3000 feet above sea level, making it a cool region for Cambodia.
