Day 1: Visiting the City

Our guide will meet you at the Port of Buenos Aires, our guide will help you naturalize with Buenos Aires and will clarify all your doubts you may have about your trip.

In the afternoon you will visit the most important spots in the spectacular city of Buenos Aires. At the first stop you will discover the history of “May Square”, the site of the most important historical events and where their protagonists made history since its foundation where you can see its surroundings, the most emblematic buildings, and learn all about them. Then enjoy May Avenue and wonder in awe at the oldest residential neighbourhood in Buenos Aires: San Telmo. Walk along its cobble-stoned streets and discover its antiques shops and picturesque buildings. Live and feel the original Tango in the neighborhood of La Boca: walk along “Caminito Street” and enjoy the dancers and souvenir shops. See the mythical Boca Juniors soccer stadium.

Contemplate the modernization of the city whilst traveling along “Madero Port” and its exclusive docks, full of excellent restaurants and large office buildings. Pass through the Retiro neighborhood and move on to see Palermo and its most exclusive residential area before finally arriving at Recoleta. Once there, discover the final resting place of Eva Peron, “Evita” and wander through Recoleta Cemetery where she is to be found.

Buenos Aires

Day 2: Day in the Countryside at “El Ombu de Areco”

On this tour you will enjoy an authentic day in the countryside at an exclusive estancia in San Antonio de Areco. At the start of the tour the group will travel to San Antonio de Areco and be able to enjoy a close up view of our pampas on the way and at the same time receive a complete explanation from one of our specialised guides. On arrival at San Antonio de Areco you will take a tour of the village, which includes a walk around the historical downtown of the city.  Afterwards you will make their way to the exclusive ‘El Ombu de Areco’ Estancia. Once at the estancia you can take rides on the horses or go for a ride in a “sulky” whilst enjoying a buffet with traditional cold cuts, cheeses and beverages. At lunchtime the group will enjoy a typical country style BBQ prepared using only the finest quality meats. Dessert is accompanied by a folklore show, which is followed by a demonstration of gaucho skills.

Day 3: Salta

Today you will take your flight to Salta, arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 4: Visiting the City “A Mixture of Cultures, Spanish and Natives”

In the afternoon you will tour around the places of greater attractive of the city and surroundings . The city itself is charming. We can start at the the main square 9 of July You will see historic houses, such as the St Bernard Convent, which is the oldest religious building in Salta, with its door made of carob tree and carved by natives. It is a treasure of art from this province. St Francisco Church tower is 53 m high.. Then, we should quote the imposing Cathedral –keeping the human remains of General Martín Miguel de Güemes, the local hero in the independence struggles.

Quite near it is Saint Francis Church, one of the most beautiful catholic churches in the North. While touring, you will reach St Bernard Hill. At its foot, facing the city, the General Güemes monument stands out, carved into stone obtained from the same hill and with the bronze figure of the hero on top of it.

You will see the Catholic University, the Vaqueros River, The Castellanos Gorge, Lesser, until you reach the picturesque San Lorenzo Village, a relaxing and appreciated place to enjoy summers in Salta. It is located in the yungas (sort of mountain forest) area, very close to San Lorenzo River, to the northeast of Lerma Valley, where a beautiful landscape and picturesque estancias, together with attractive houses, can be appreciated. The San Lorenzo Ravin is a place to see, with its high altitude vegetation that is covered with fog during the summer and is typical of the yungas area.

​On your way back, you will visit the Crafts Market in Salta. Salta has its Handcrafts Market at an old house of the 18th century.

Day 5: Purmamarca & Big Salts

After breakfast, you will start with a fantastic program that will allow you to visit one of the most spectacular regions of Argentina, the tour visit different villages like Volcán, Tumbaya and Maimará with its "Paleta del Pintor” (Painter’s Palette). In Purmamarca, where you will stay overnight, a famous village for its well-known "Cerro de los Siete Colores” (Seven Colours Hill), you will have time to visit the handicraft market and to walk around the village, after that you will reach the Big Salts after crossing the famous “Cuesta Del Lipan” 4000 mts above sea level.

Los Colorados (Purmamarca)

Day 6: Humahuaca & Return to Salta

After breakfast, you will continue with the tour along the Humahuaca Ravine, This day you will visit the town of Tilcara, we visit its Archaeological Museum and the "Pucará" (amazing indigenous ruins). We then continue the trip, passing Huacalera and Uquía, we finally arrive to Humahuaca, an ancient picturesque village. We walk around the place and we have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we return to Salta through San Salvador de Jujuy, where we get to see the main attractions of the city. The circuit ends in Salta.

Day 7: Visiting the Calchaquies Valleys “Cachi”

Leaving the city by Cerrillos, El Carril, Pulares, La Quebrada Escoipe makes prelude to the winding Cuesta del Obispo, reaching its highest point in the Stone Mill 3348 meters. This high point is a gate between two valleys: Lerma (lower and warmer) and the Calchaqui (between cords foothills, about 1200 meters higher and more arid). Then, continuing along the Line of Tin Tin, perfect construction strangely drawn about 3000 meters high, in Inca times, and stopping at and Payogasta Los Cardones National Park to the typical colonial town of Cachi, on the banks of the River Calchaquí. at 2210 meters above sea level at the foot of the Nevado de Cachi. The tour visits the Archaeological Museum and parish church. Return to Salta in the same way.

Day 8: Salta - Cordoba

After breakfast, transfer to the Airport where you take your flight to Cordoba, upon arrival transfer to the hotel.

Day 9: Free Day

Arrival in the afternoon and transfer to the selected hotel. Rest of the day at your leisure.


Day 10: Visit of the City

After breakfast, We visit the most important points of the city: the historical city center, composed of the “Plaza San Martín”, the town hall and the cathedral; the municipal centre where juts out the municipality, the Palace of Justice, the Plaza Italia, the stream “La Cañada”, the “Plaza de la Intendencia”. We pass by the playhouse “Teatro Libertador General San Martín” and enter the student neighbourhood of Nueva Córdoba where we visit the church “Iglesia de los Capuchinos”. Continuing our journey to Sarmiento Park, the House of Government  and the university area of the city. We observe the monument of the “urban man” and go along the riverside of the Suquía River arriving to the popular neighborhood “Alberdi”.

​From there the Avenida Colón takes to the stadium “Olímpico Córdoba”, the fairground, the University “Libre del Medio Ambiente” and the urban botanic garden. We cross the river and we enter the smart neighbourhood “Cerro de Las Rosas”, where we get to know the monument of the “urban women”, the Avenida Rafael Nuñez and the viewpoint of “Parque Autóctono”. Afterwards we visit the Manzana Jesuítica de Córdoba, World Heritage Site with its church “la Compañía de Jesús”, the chapel of the “Virgen de Lourdes”, the antique rectorate of the university, currently a museum of the history of UNC, and the traditional school of Monserrat.

Day 11: Jesuits Ranches

After breakfast, We leave Córdoba towards Colonia Caroya, lodging for descendants of the immagrints of northern Italy and famous for its homemade salamis. There we visit the Estancia Jesuítica “Casa de Caroya”, which was used as a summer residence for students of the Colegio de Monserrat. After that, we go to Jesús María, renowned for its Festival de Doma y Folclore (taming and folk music festival), where we will find the Estancia Jesuítica San Isidro Labrador, pioneer in the making of wine in the area.

Day 12: Nice flight to Mendoza
