The Sangla Valley is located in the extreme south of the state of Himachal Pradesh, in the Himalayas.

My suggestion:
Leave everyone else behind and spend a few days camping out in nature there.
Summary:

Sangla Valley is definitely my favorite destination in the whole of India! There are places in the world that, once visited, will always hold a special place in our hearts, like a special treasure. For me, the Sangla Valley is one of those places.

I've rarely found myself so overwhelmed by a mountain landscape. In the Sangla Valley you can see mountain passes, glaciers and snow as well as verdant forests, torrential rivers and majestic waterfalls. You really do feel completely immersed in a wonderful natural environment.

The vegetation there is rich and lush and the little wooden villages perched on the flanks of the mountains adorable. In my opinion, this is one of the essential places to go and see when traveling Northern India.
