The best time to visit Mexico is during the dry season, from November to April. Between June and October the rains are frequent, short-lived and won't stop you from enjoying most regions. May is dry but really hot - not the best time of year to visit. You'll find that the climate varies according to altitude. Winters are cold and days short in mountainous regions, whilst the southern lowlands are hot all year round. Overall, if you're planning a trip to this Mayan homeland, choose the dry, pleasantly warm periods.
The trip was very well organised and everything went to plan

Our trip to Mexico was amazing! This was our third trip using Evaneos and by far it has been the best one. All thanks to the local agent in partnership with Evaneos in Mexico, excellent recommendations and costumer service. She was quite accommodating, both before the trip, where she tailored the itinerary to meet our needs and our budget (she even calculated for us a budget per day which turned out to be pretty close to what we ended up spending) and during the trip as well by being in contact with us to check if we were satisfied with our itinerary or if we needed anything. We definitely recommend local agencies in parternship with Evaneos and we will surely go back to Mexico!

We started in Cancun and drove to Chichen Itza and then on to Merida from where we visited Uxmal and Kabah. After flying to Chihuahua we took the train to Creel and Divisdero with activities in Copper Canyon. A further stop in Cerocahui before continuing by train to El Fuerte before flying to Mexico City for a visit to Teotihuacan and taking in some sites in the City itself
