San Miguel de Allende
President Enrique Peña Nieto once described his country as 'a mosaic of different realities and beauties' and this could not be more true. Visiting the different states and regions of Mexico is like travelling through separate countries.

Favourites from the agency
  • The archaeological site of Uxmal is one of our favourites of the Mayan ruins. It is peaceful and not widely visited by tourists.
  • The island of Holbox is still relatively untouched by tourism and is one of the most beautiful, authentic and romantic destinations in the country.
  • Cenotes are truly unique to the Yucatán peninsular. Cenotes are natural pools of fresh and crystalline water, created by holes in the soft ground.
  • When visiting Guanajuato you don't need organised activities. You can simply wander through the maze of colourful, vibrant streets lined with stalls!

Our agency offers customers the opportunity to visit many local people in their homes or workshops to eat local food and see how the people make their trade. This gives travellers the opportunity to really experience authentic Mexico while learning about local culture and traditions. We also offer the chance for our travelers to stay in eco-friendly accommodation in some of the more off-the-beaten-track areas of the country such as the Sierra Gorda Nature Reserve and the jungles of Chiapas. Both options provide work and extra income for residents of remote areas of Mexico. See more

Thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback. I'm sorry the room in Mexico City was disappointing, this is certainly something we will consider in the future, but I'm really happy that the rest of your trip was flawless. You did a really great route combining some of my favorite places in Mexico and it's great that you had a wonderful experience in each place. I wish you both well and safe travels in the future, HarrietSee more

    Best parts:
Overall the trip was fantastic, except for that referenced in the 'worst part' below: In particular our driver/guide, Jorge A.V, who drove us throughout our trip was exceptional. He was very informative, helpful and ensured our safety throughout our trip. He went out of his way, well beyond that normally expected, to ensure that our trip was totally enjoyable.
    Worst parts:
The Hote P**** C*****, 27th March 2019, very disappointed with this accommodation! Considering the overnight cost the staff were surly, unhelpful and uniformative, surpisingly no one had any level of english for provision of information. The food was disappointing, especially the breakfast. Overall we would not recommend this venue at all!
    Summary:
Generally a fantastic insight ot the Yucatan area and all of the visited locations and detinations were exceptional and, only with the exception of the Hotel P**** C*****, the whole trip was more than...Generally a fantastic insight ot the Yucatan area and all of the visited locations and detinations were exceptional and, only with the exception of the Hotel P**** C*****, the whole trip was more than enjoyable, informative and educational.See more

It's really great that you had a fantastic time exploring the Yucatán Peninsula. I will pass on your comments to your driver Jorge who will be very happy to hear that you enjoyed your trip with him. I'm sorry to hear about your experience at the hotel P***** C****. We usually receive good reviews about this hotel so we will be taking your comments into consideration and doing everything possible to improve the service we provide down in Calakmul. It was an absolute pleasure to assist with your trip planning! Best wishes, HarrietSee more
