The 2nd biggest city in Mexico, Guadalajara is the ideal place to dive into Mexican culture and traditions.

My suggestion:
Relax, have lunch in the market, and get used to the crowds of people you see in the place.
Summary:
Guadalajara's historic center is full of parks and artistic monuments. A lovely walk from the National Cathedral took me to Tapatia Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Most of the tourist sites of the town center are found on this square, which is famous for the amazing Quetzalcoatl fountain in its center.

Guadalajara (easier to write than pronounce) is the capital city of the state of Jalisco, which lies midway up Mexico's west coast. It's the last large city you encounter before heading into the less populated areas in the north.

My suggestion:
Guadalajara is enlivened by a festive atmosphere all year round. The most exhilarating and exciting events take place in October.
Summary:
I chose to begin my trip to Mexico in Guadalajara. This is where I had my first taste of the country and enjoyed my first Mexican experiences, and it's here that I fell in love with Mexico.
Homage to the mariachis of Guadalajara
