The economic capital of Chiapas state, 1,000 kilometres from the state of Mexico City.
My suggestion:
The town isn't very interesting so you can arrange things so you don't have to stop there. It's better to stay in the surrounding villages or the pretty town of San Cristobal de las Casas!
Summary:
InTuxtla Gutiérrez, it is always hot during the day, even in winter. It's a big town with the usual supply of shops, restaurants and business hotels.
