In the Great South of Morocco, near the Wadi Tagbalth Canyon, the Berghoua dunes are a haven of peace.

My suggestion:
For those who love trekking holidays, novices and confirmed lovers of camel caravans.
Summary:

Berghoua was the place where I first experienced a camel. It was a great first experience in the dunes. I felt like I was going off to explore the old caravan routes in the company of the Bedouin. The dunes were incredibly beautiful as I watched their colours change as the hours passed, from glittering gold in the dawn light to pink at the end of the afternoon. Like travelling in a painting.

During your holiday in Morocco, I really recommend you take this excursion at Marrakesh, through the vast dunes, canyons and plateaus of the Great South, as far as the Algerian border. For me it wasn't just an opportunity to explore the sumptuous desert scenery but also to learn about the way of life of the local inhabitants of the oases. And, of course, to get to know the people who were travelling with me.
