Who wouldn't want to see a garden in the middle of a desert? Oasis Fint is a place where nature and humans have agreed to coexist, and where you'll be able to completely relax.

My suggestion:
Don't panic if, the second of your arrival, you're bombarded with offers to show you around the place. Feel free to take full advantage of these offers to discover how the locals live.
Summary:

Due to its proximity to Europe, Morocco is the gate of entry to the East and the Arab world. Although Marrakech and Tangiers are starting to suffer from the consequences of mass tourism, if you take a step back, you'll see there are still areas which have kept their authenticity completely intact. Oasis Fint is a great example of this. Its name means 'hidden' for the Berbers, and they couldn't have chosen a better term.

From the town of Ourrzazate, you'll find it no problem at all to organise a trip to Oasis Fint. The most interesting thing about it is that it's encircled by four towns: Wangarf, Taherbilte, Timoula and Benghazi. There, life continues unchanged from the olden days. I had the opportunity to speak to a few of the citizens, and noticed how their way of life has stayed pretty much untouched by modernity. They prefer a different rhythm of living, and stick to their old customs.

To sum it up, Oasis Fint is a pretty garden, verdant and full of life, set in arid desert surroundings. You'll have to make a stop there and see for yourself how something can be devoid of life and full of it at the same time – it really is a surprise.
