To the south of the Anti-Atlas, Goulimine, which is also known as Guelmim, is located on the edge of the Western Sahara.

My suggestion:
See the unusual souk on Saturdays.
Summary:

I found Goulimine to be a unique stopping place between Agadir and Tan-Tan. Goulimine is a peaceful place with its earth houses with blue doors and shutters that are so typical of the region. I learned that Goulimine was formerly an important market for caravanners arriving from the Sahara. Without a doubt, this explains the weekly souk on Saturdays a few kilometres away from Goulimine with its camel market, and the camel fair at the end of July.

Camels are hugely important in the region for riding across the Sahara and in the daily life of the "Blue Men of the Sahara". But Goulimine is also known for its jewellery, which is typical of the region (Goulimine beads), and its traditional Berber tagines, some of which are made from camel meat.

From Goulimine, I recommend you go to the oasis of Tighmert: a pretty walk through a palm grove in the Anti-Atlas. I was even able to stay there in a Berber tent: a guaranteed change of scenery! I would also recommend the oasis of Id-Aissa for its walking trails, its waterfalls and its cave paintings.
