Manja is a small, quiet village in the west of Madagascar. Located on the road between Belo-sur-Mer and Morombe, it is possible to stop there for the night when travelling between these two cities.

My suggestion:
Take a break here on your journey between Morombe and Belo-sur-Mer.
Summary:

Attention! Despite the relatively short distance between Manja and Morombe (160 kilometres) and Belo-sur-Mer (100 kilometres), the state of the track that connects these towns means that it takes respectively about 6 hours and 5 hours to cover this itinerary.

The landscapes around Manja are typical of the bush in the west of the country: the grassy plains are punctuated by dry, thorny forests with towering baobab trees. The city is reached by crossing Mangoky River by ferry at Bevoay. In the rainy season, the track that leads to Manja is hardly practicable.
