A fabulous national park that is not to be missed!
My suggestion:
Visit the park accompanied by a guide, who will help you discover the many trails. A recently created trail leads you through the caves formed under the Tsingys by the Manambolo River, which is an absolute must-do, especially for those who seek truly unique travel destinations!
Summary:
Tsingys de Bemaraha National Park consists of a huge limestone massif carved by erosion and a forest which is home to many species of lemurs, birds and reptiles as well as one very strange animal - the giant rat. Far from being repulsive, this small animal has longer fur than its city cousin and is even rather funny when it jumps about among the leaves.
Of course the main attraction of this park, which listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, are the famous Tsingys, these rock formations created by the wind and water and which extend over the entire plateau. These razor-sharp limestone spurs are the playground of sifaka lemurs, which fearlessly jump between the peaks that form this labyrinth of stone.
