Masomelaka is also accessible via the National 11 and the ferries over the rivers. During the rainy season the track is chaotic and hardly usable. On the outskirts of the village, the vegetation is lush and you will be able to observe a large number of plant species such as pandanus, bamboos and palms, including the raffia palm whose fibres are used by the inhabitants for the manufacture of objects. Masomelaka is composed of small wooden houses separated by alleys of sand where the children play - a guaranteed exotic experience!
