The Andasibe-Mantadia National Park stretches over more than 61 square miles, and 80% of it is covered with wet primary forest. A refuge where lush nature flourishes.

Summary:
The park is divided into two parts. The Analamazoatra Special Reserve covering 3 square miles, and the more vast Mantadia Park. The forest is home to more than a hundred species of birds, around 50 different reptiles including the famous Mitandra boa and 14 species of lemurs.
The superstar of Mantadia is the indri indri, the island's largest lemur reaching 3 feet in height... a shame to miss during a trip to Madagascar! You can hear its peculiar song in the early morning hours. Many insects live in the forest, including the Urania Madagascariensis, one of the most beautiful butterflies in the world. Mantadia is also home to the island's largest chameleon.
As for the flora, the reserve is rich with a hundred species of orchids, some of which are very rare. They bloom between October and February.
Different tours have been developed based on preferences and difficulty. Waterfalls and sacred places can also be visited.
