Village situated in the south west of Kruger park, it have been developed thanks to tourism. The closest entrance to the park is called Paul Kruger.

My suggestion:
Buy fruit and vegetables here on the side of the road, do your shopping at the supermarket, fill up with petrol and get money out before entering Kruger Park.
Summary:

I really appreciated Hazyview, the centre is pleasant, you'll find accommodation at all prices, from youth hostels to luxury hotels. Even if it's always better to stay inside Kruger Park to make the most of the experience, it's cheaper to stay just outside. A practical town but far from being unmissable.

You can organise an day trip to Kruger Park very easily from Hazyview, access to the gate is quick. I visited an elephant sanctuary as well as a Shangaan village, the ethnicity that originates from Kruger Park. The village is surrounded by banana plantations, the climate is very tropical there, it's therefore best to go there during the dry season (winter).
