The first days of the Annapurna circuit are not the most pleasant because you have to follow a path between the hiking trails and roads for motorised vehicles, which spoil the decor a little.
Of course, the landscapes are gorgeous and the people are wonderful. I only took a tea break in Dharapani, but the village seemed quite friendly to me. It is not surprising that it is among the preferred stopovers for agencies and other trekkers (however, this may have changed, as I was there before the earthquake of 2015).
If you go that way during <a href="/nepal/">your trip to Nepal</a>, you will see the change of vegetation as the tropical forest of the previous stages gradually gives way to shrubs and conifers. The climate also cools down, hurray, and soon you are in the middle of the mountains!
I should add that I visited Nepal before the earthquake of 2015, so it is possible that the places have changed since then.
