There is a particular effervescent feel to Oudja, probably linked to its proximity with Algeria. Oujda is yet to get the attention from tourists it fully deserves. It is worth the detour.
My suggestion
If you can visit the city at the end of September or the beginning of October, you'd have the opportunity to participate in the Autumn harvest festival, which takes place at the end of the olive harvest.
A city at the eastern reaches of Morocco, Oujda is a pleasant metropolis, despite the relative absence of tourist attractions.

From Oujda, you will find many connections going to the coast and the beautiful beaches that are still little known to Western tourists.
