Trou d’Argent is a wonderful beach formed from three coves with high cliffs on each side, providing a romantic setting for local inhabitants and romantic couples who are visiting the island of Rodrigues on holiday. As far as I'm concerned, this is one of the most beautiful beaches in the whole country, perhaps even THE most beautiful (there are so many to choose from!). However, you are strongly recommended not to bathe here.
The views from Trou d'Argent are particularly impressive. From the top of the cliffs, the sheer grandeur of the natural environment here can very impressive and even quite intimidating. And on the beach, feel the sensation of the fine sand between your toes and cast your eyes out towards the horizon, stretching out into the distance as far as the eye can see … All in all, I remain convinced that this cove is the perfect place to come for romantic couples visiting Rodrigues on holiday and who want to be left with vivid, unforgettable memories of their time on the island.
