I stopped by Zrnovo whilst staying on Korcula and it left me with some great memories. It's an old, stone village nestled in the hills of Korcula Island. Strolling around its shady streets was a pleasure, not least because the village has kept its original architecture and charm.
It's small in size (roughly 1,000 inhabitants) and a bit out of the way. It's better suited to an afternoon visit rather than a long stay, unless you're looking for a romantic hideaway or seeking inspiration in a tiny village in a remote part of Croatia. It that's the case, Zrnovo does have some good guest houses, but you're best visiting out of season if you want a quiet few days during a holiday in Croatia.
