Palomani Pass is located in the Cordillera Vilcanota, you can cross it during the Ausangate trek.

My suggestion:
If you find yourself in this region from the end of May to the beginning of June, do not miss the pilgrimage of Qoyllur Rit'i.
Summary:

At an altitude of 6,350 m, Ausangate is the highest mountain of the Cusco region as well as the fourth highest peak in Peru. To discover it, there's nothing better than a trek through the Andean peaks. Less well known than the Inca Trail, this 5 day hike enables you to discover the south-east of Cusco and to cross the Palomani Pass.

In contrast to the popular Inca Trail trek, the Ausangate trek is said to be a little easier, as the ascent is not as high. Nonetheless, it is advisable to do an acclimatisation hike before setting off on an adventure. Indeed, the mountains to be climbed are very high in altitude and temperatures are quite low. At night the mercury often drops below 0°C. You have been warned...

The departure point for this hike is usually from the hamlet of Tinqui (or Tinki), a hundred kilometres from the imperial city of the Incas, Cusco. The landscapes that we crossed during this trek had nothing to do with the Sacred Valley but we found ourselves completely immersed in nature!
