Upon arrival, we are warmly welcomed by Marta, the owner of the site. We're warned that there's practically no electricity on the island, which draws its energy from solar panels. This information barely matters to us as we have come to Suasi Island for a romantic weekend far away from everything. We spent two amazing days between canoe trips, massages, campfires, small homemade dishes and romantic sunsets over the lake.
