Lying between Kathmandu and Pokhara, this a a wonderful place to visit for lovers of nature and culture.
My suggestion
Wander around the town's little streets, and don't be reluctant to enter any of the luxury hotels located on its main street. The interiors are wonderfully decorated.

A small, charming village with a beautiful view of snow covered peaks, but still quite touristy and somewhat expensive.
My suggestion
The village does not necessarily require you to linger for too long, but this is a nice stop on your itinerary between Kathmandu and Pokhara.

Have way between Kathmandu andPokhara, at an altitude of 1,000 m, is the village of Bandipur, which has very romantic views over the Annapurnas.
My suggestion
Make sure you are well-equipped if you are going to "Siddha Gufa" - the largest cave in the country and one of the biggest in Asia - which is two hours hard downward walking away, in a forest. If you are claustrophobic then don't bother!
A spiritual getaway, far from the hustle and bustle of Thamel.
Situated just 5 kilometres from the city, Boudhanath is one of the most revered Buddhist shrines in Nepal.
