Phedi is a small village situated near to Pokhara in central Nepal. It's an arrival/departure point along the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek.

Be prepared for a climb as soon as you start the trek! Leaving from Phedi along the trail that leads to Dhampus, the next stop will be the Annapurna base camp. This stage is long series of steps that will take you up a further 500m in altitude. Bear in mind that this is just for starters; Phedi is at 1,130m and the Annapurna base camp is 3 kilometres higher at 4,130m!
