Ojtiwarongo, a farming town in the north of Namibia , is located between Windhoek and Etosha National Park . This town is home to Namibia's only crocodile farm.

My suggestion:
Otjiwarongo is near the Waterberg plateau, as well as the "Cheetah Conservation Fund" (Centre for information on Cheetahs) and the Africat Foundation.
Summary:

I was got to sleep in a lodge that is also the headquarters of "Africat Foundation". Africat is an organisation that aims to protect endangered cheetahs, leopards and Namibia's other wild carnivores, that I suggest you visit if you have the time!

In this way, I was able to observe a part of Africat's protection programme and learn more about these "big cats" during a guided safari in a 4x4. This safari led me to discover a few leopards and cheetahs (great moments, high in emotion and contemplation) as well as other animals living on the reserve: Kudus, zebras, dik-dik antilopes and numerous birds.
