The Mount of the Beatitudes probably means more to Christian travellers. A church was built on the site to remind people of Jesus' "Sermon on the Mount". So it's very important for pilgrims. June in Tiberias: I know now that the summer is without a doubt the most difficult season to brave this region. I continued my expedition by going further down, closer to the bank, where researchers had set up excavation sites just next to the orthodox monastery.
