Huangguoshu (China)

Lying 130 kilometers from Guiyang, this exceptional site consists of three main waterfalls, among which that of Huangguoshu, the largest in the country. I recommend you spend at least half a day visiting and exploring the site. 

For an appetizer of what's to come, begin at the Yinlianzhuitan Waterfall. Then move on to the second site and head off along the gloriously scenic mountain trail (roughly two hours walking). You'll encounter waterfalls and watering places, caves and hanging bridges along the walk.

Finally, continue on to the last and most majestic stage of all, Huangguoshu Waterfall, the biggest in China and even the whole of Asia : the falls are 72 meters high and 82 meters wide. There are six viewpoints constructed all around the water fall, and even behind the curtain of water itself. Thrills and excitement are guaranteed!
