It was once an independent town, but nowadays Outremont is a suburb of Montreal in Quebec.

My suggestion:
Put on some comfy shoes and lose yourself in the streets of Outremont. Don't forget your camera!
Summary:

Outremont is a chic neighbourhood in Montrealthat I love exploring. An enchanting, swanky part of town, lined with elegant 20th Century French-style architecture that appeals to locals and tourists alike.

Take a long walk along Outremont's streets and admire the beauty of its exqusite, classic houses. Bernard and Laurier Streets are the prettiest and my favourites - take a stop a one of the many cafes or browse some of its boutiques. If you go at Halloween or Christmas you'll find the area lit up with amazing, festive decorations.

Outremont is a Montreal melting pot, where you'll find French, Greek and Hasidic Jewish communities. It's one of Montreal's most beautiful neighbourhoods.
