The place is well known for the weddings that are held there. There is a special atmosphere at Niagara Falls , which undoubtedly explains its popularity. The place is absolutely magnificent but spending your whole honeymoon there could be boring. In Ontario and the west of Quebec, grapes are grown. So why not add a visit to the vineyards to your trip? You'll be able to see the beautiful countryside and also have the chance to try some good Quebecois and Ontarian wine.

From the east to the west, travelling the country by train

If you have some time I suggest you get on a train and cross Canada from the east to the west! The railway line was built during the colonial era for transporting goods, but there is also a passenger train. During this 5,000 kilometre adventure you will enjoy a variety of scenery, from the Big Lakes to the prairies and then the Rockies! The long hours of the journey are perfect for a gentle trip for two love birds.
