Situated north of Salar de Uyuni and southeast of Salar de Copoisa, Llica is a small hamlet with a population of about 800. Most of the people make their living from livestock farming, agriculture, crafts and Salar-related tourism. The village has a small colonial church and a pretty market where you can buy jumpers made from llama wool.
