Incahuasi can be found on the way to the famous Salar de Uyuni.

My suggestion:
If you want to see the site transformed into an island, then visit during the rainy season.
Summary:

It might not be as famous as its illustrious neighbour, Salar de Uyuni, but Incahuasi is still an essential destination while on holiday in Bolivia.

Incahuasi is a mound of coral covered in cacti nearly 10 metres tall. The ochre of the rock and the green of the cactus contrast with the immaculate whiteness of the salt flat. You can take beautiful photos and play a game of optical illusions.

What makes this site unique? During the rainy season, Incahuasi turns into an island. But don't worry, it's still accessible.

If like me, you decide to climb Incahuasi's small hills, remember to put your shoes on. Don't expect the giant cacti to be friendly if you dare to get too close to them! Once at the top, you can admire the full extent of the mythical salt flat.
