On the border of Chile and Bolivia, Ojo de Perdiz is a typical desert in the Andean Altiplano.

My suggestion:
Don't hang around in this desert area; Ojo de Perdiz is, above all, a crossing point and only has very few points of interest.
Summary:

Ojo de Perdiz Desert is nestled at the border of Chile and Bolivia. This desert zone, surrounded by reddish rocks and mountains, has a charming hotel.

Above all, the area is a departure point to head to the most beautiful parts of northern Chile and Sur Lipez. Ojo de Perdiz is only about forty kilometres from Laguna Colorada, as well as approximately 200 km from Salar de Uyuni and the Atacama Desert. A good agenda ahead!

Ojo de Perdiz Desert can be defined as a shelter in the middle of nowhere. You'll have understood by now that the site is, first and foremost, a gateway to discover the most beautiful natural jewels of Latin America.
