My suggestion
Stay outside the town, rather than inside, to make the most of the region without the inconveniences of the town centre.
225 km from Dalat, Nha Trang is a beautiful seaside resort in the China Sea which is bathed in sun nearly all year.
My suggestion
Don't forget that Nha Trang isn't just about the beach, there are also the superb towers of Po Nagar.

Avoid staying in the downtown area: there are nightclubs everywhere and it's a party town! The outskirts are much more typically Vietnamese in their appearance.
