A port city on the Black Sea, Trabzon is a pleasant historical city with its own particular atmosphere.

My suggestion:
If you want to learn more about Trabzon's history then go to the town museum, in the center of town.
Summary:
Trabzon has 1 million inhabitants and is one of the biggest cities on the Black Sea. It has an atmosphere all its own, nothing like any other towns in the country. Historically it was a commercial port on the old Silk Road, so the town has always been a mix of cultures and religions. Today Trabzon has a slightly shady feeling to it, which I quite liked, especially as under its somewhat shabby air it hides some wonderful sites like the old church of Aya Sofia, its old historic center, and its beautiful fortifications.

An industrial city on the Black Sea coast.

My suggestion:
You should visit around the town as the landscape is very green there.
Summary:
Trabzon is an industrial town in the north of Turkey, near Georgia, and on the Black Sea coast. I had only just arrived here where I saw, for the first time in my life, a school of dolphins swimming and jumping together.
