Don't forget your swimming costume when you visit the pigeon island, swimming there is very pleasant.
If you wish to visit Ephesus, it's nice to stay in Kusadasi.
I was slightly disappointed by Kusadasi. It's true that Kusadasi's beach and yard club are nice, but its caravansary and souk aren't unusual.
However, what makes the city attractive is its geographical location. It is located near the archaeological site of Ephesus. You need to allow a day to visit it all: make sure you take water and something to snack on with you for the duration of your visit. At the end of the day, when returning to Kusadasi, I toured its pigeon island and dived in the Aegean Sea, still pleasantly warm.
The following morning, I left to discover the Dilek National Park and I strolled around the forest in search of fauna and flora. Next, you must bathe in the clear blue water with a view of this lovely forest. It was impressive and really nice.
