A small seaside village on the Turkish Mediterranean coast, Selimiye still preserves the charms of a small Turkish port even if it is becoming less and less of a secret.

My suggestion:
During summer, locals organize day cruises around the bay that surrounds Selimiye.
Once a shipbuilding town, Selimiye has a great position on the Bozburun peninsula, a lively but secure atmosphere, and an authenticity that hasn't yet been spoiled by mass tourism. I love walking on through the cafe terraces and fresh fish restaurants on its embankments, admiring the beautiful countryside with the turquoise water and the mountains that plunge down into the bay.
