Lunar landscape located at the centre of Anatolia, the White Valley belongs to the region of Cappadocia. The latter has been classified a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1985.

My suggestion:
A pair of walking shoes might be useful for exploring the White Valley, and more broadly, the whole of Cappadocia.
Summary:

You can get to the White Valley on foot, horseback or by bicycle. A very popular site in Cappadocia, this exceptional setting is worth losing yourself in. I fell in love with the tuff meringues millions of years old.

On a different note, you will discover, between fruit trees and gorge slopes, an array of upright rocks, in which every Freudian will see a phallic shape. As a result, that explains the second name of the place, also called Love Valley... As a conscious geologist, try to explain to children that they are chimneys!

Ideally, you'll spend several days in Cappadocia and devote half a day to the White Valley. You can start the walk from the charming village of Uçhisar. It's also possible to get move between Uçhisar and Göreme on foot, if you wish to make a second visit.

A superb discovering across the White Valley that I would recommend to travellers who are preparing their journey in Turkey.
