Perched at an altitude of over 6,000 m, the Cordillera Real is known as the roof of South America. With its snow-capped volcanoes and its windswept steppes, the Cordillera Real is a genuine paradise for trekking lovers.
It was during this hike (which is one of the most impressive in Bolivia), that we stopped at Campo Canal to enjoy a day's rest. Surrounded by the snow-capped peaks, this place is a genuine haven of peace and it's ideal to recharge one's batteries. 
Please note that this trek is only for people in excellent physical health, who don't suffer from (or rarely suffer from) altitude. On the agenda: significant altitude changes, icy cold and a head in the clouds. An adventure not to be missed if you're an Andean enthusiast!
