The country's second city, Osh, has retained relatively little of its three millennia of history, but it nonetheless remains a pleasant place for a brief stopover.

My suggestion
Make sure you experience the Jaymal Market. Avoid going out between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., as the heat is truly oppressive during the summer period.

My suggestion
The bazaar in Osh is undoubtedly one of the largest and most lively markets in the country, with vast and vibrant colours, and ornaments of all kinds on offer in an atmosphere full of heckling and liveliness.
