The 'Princes Islands' comprises of nine islands in the Marmara Sea, with Büyükada being the largest.

My suggestion

You can get there from Kabatas, Kadiköy and Bostanci. At the end of the day, make sure you don't miss the last ferry back to Istanbul. Even though it's an island, it's not deserted and has some lovely, romantic hotels.

Leave on an early boat and eat your breakfast during the crossing, whilst admiring the view.

Don't forget your swimwear so you can enjoy the beach, but not by the fish restaurants at the jetty.
