The Camotes Islands are an archipelago of islands located in the sea of the same name. They're east of Cebu and form part of its province.

My suggestion:
It's a place I recommend if you're visiting the Philippines, as it's not yet very well-known by travellers.
Summary:

The turquoise waters, the beaches of fine, white sand, the postcard scenery... You'll find a little paradise in the Camotes Islands.

Still a well-kept secret, I advise you to take a tour of Pacjian, Ponson, Poro and Tuland Islands. In addition to the idyllic landscapes, such as the beaches of Mangodlong or Santiago Bay, you'll also have the possibility of seeing monuments from the Spanish Occupation era, as well as incredible caves (such as Bukilat).

Camotes or even "sweet potatoes", as the legend claims that the island owes its name to sweet potatoes. Often called "the lost horizon of the south", these islands house numerous treasures both on land and in their waters. Tourism has been known growing in the last few years, notably for its luxurious diving sites.

For me, it was one of the most authentic experiences during my trip to the Philippines.
