Twin Lakes are actually two former volcanic craters which are now filled with water from the rainfall of recent years. To get to the lakes, you'll need to gradually climb the volcano. The journey's great! There's lots of vegetation (palm trees, pine trees...), giant butterflies and waterfalls, and you can hear animal noises. Once you get to the top of the volcano, that's when the journey gets a bit tricky. It's a trek to the two lakes: Balinsasayao and Danao. Be careful though because the stones on the path can get quite slippy.
There's other services near the two lakes: you can enjoy a boat ride or hire a kayak, and there's also a restaurant to eat at. In summary, Twin Lakes is an idyllic place where I could enjoy the nature, even if it took a great deal of effort to get there.
