With its clean mountain air, often surprising cultural sites and a welcoming, laid back atmosphere, Sagada is a great destination for a nature meets culture holiday.

My suggestion:
The homemade yoghurts at the Yogourt House are divine! They may be a bit pricey, but they're the perfect way to start the day.
Summary:

Perched high up in the mountains, the lovely town of Sagada has buoyant atmosphere. You can get around on foot, enjoy some great restaurants (Lemon Pie House) and access the tourist office, shops and transport links that are all based in the centre of town. It's both easy and practical!

After registering and paying the required 'preservation tax', you can head off on a long walk to the numerous archaeological sites not far from the town. Two sites particularly impressed me: the amazing suspended coffins in Echo Valley and the Lumiang Cave, with its perplexing array of around a hundred wooden coffins placed at its entrance.

Other than that, there are plenty of other activities to enjoy: visiting local villages, long/short hikes and exploring its varied landscapes, be it the waterfall, the rice fields or heading up a mountain.

I suggest you arm yourself with a map, ask for advice at the tourist office and then hire a motorbike/moped so you can tour the area as you wish.
