Reviews of Honda Bay

Honda Bay is located very close to Puerto Princesa and contains a large number of islets and coral reefs at which there is an incredibly rich variety of aquatic life to be found.

My suggestion:
Seek advice at the little tourist office, located on Santa Lourdes Tagbanua Wharf; I found the information they provided extremely useful.
Summary:

Everyone has heard of Ha Long Bay, but I had the opportunity to compare it with other places in Asia's southeast such as Ao Phang Nga National Park and the magnificent Honda Bay; I definitely prefer the latter.

There are various incredible islands to visit in Honda Bay, offering the kinds of beaches that you may have only seen in your wildest dreams! In contrast – and somewhat disappointingly – you will see buildings on the beaches on some of the islands, such as Starfish for example. This disappointment does fade a little, however, once you step into the crystal clear water and see the incredible amount of starfish that appear.

Overall, what bothered me most about this place was knowing that some of the little islets are private and you have to get permission from the owner in order to set foot on these small snippets of paradise.
