From November to April
I quickly fell in love with the village of Sabang. Despite the large flow of tourists who visit the Republic of the Philippines, you can find quiet, peaceful little places here where you can spend time simply taking things easy by lying on a hammock. This long, vast, palm tree-lined beach has a relaxed, laid back atmosphere. The views are magnificent, with the shape and outline of the mountain visible to the west.
Sabang has a wide range of accommodation to offer and is the perfect place to go to rest and relax, and spend your time lounging around, regardless of your situation or budget. You don't get the partying like you might find in Boracay, and Sabang receives fewer tourists than El Nido. It does have some infrastructure in place, but nothing excessive. The Filipino people are very friendly and open and more accustomed to welcoming and hosting people than most other foreigners. This made Sabang feel more traditional and authentic to me than other places I visited in the Philippines.
